To hide the author from the homepage but leave it on the post pages just login to your admin dashboard and go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below custom CSS code:

.home .entry-meta .author  {
    display: none;
}

It needs code customization to add block with specified category and 4 articles under “Latest Posts Title” or under ” Footer Featured Posts” as this is a new feature to add in the theme.
Those page template is just a design template that comes with this theme.

It’s simple as other theme just download the theme from your account page and upload to the theme directory (Appearance > Themes) then activate it.

Seems like you are using themes’s version 1.8 into your site. We have already fixed those issue in version 2.0 and the latest version is 3.0.6. You can see the changelogs here.

Please download the theme from your account page via our site and update the theme into your site.

@oluwatosin-ige Can you please share is your site Url? So that we can see the slider problem that you are talking about.
Regarding to the old posts you need not have to worry just clear the cache whenever you update your posts or the plugin automatically clears the cache.

@roberto-marciano For that it needs code customization you need to hire a developer as this is a new feature to add in the theme.
