KeymasterHi Tony, Yes, you are correct—those codes are no longer needed, as Internet Explorer 9 is no longer supported. They will be removed in the next version update.
Thank you for sharing this and for your valuable feedback.

KeymasterHi there,
Simply log in to your account using the same username you used when purchasing the theme. Once logged in, you will be redirected to your account page, where you can navigate to the Downloads tab and download the latest version of the theme you purchased.
Please make sure that your subscription is still active. If it has expired, go to the Orders tab, where you should see a pending renewal order. Renewing your subscription will restore access to the latest theme update files.
Please note that none of our themes include lifetime updates. While you may continue using the theme indefinitely, access to future updates requires an active subscription, which must be renewed annually.
Thank you!

Keymaster@webmasterfocom You can not choose the number of article to display in a category. The number of articles shown on a category page is usually controlled by WordPress’s Posts per page setting.
Change the number of articles displayed
- Go to Dashboard → Settings → Reading
- Find “Blog pages show at most”
- Enter the number of posts you want to display (e.g., 10, 12, 20)
- Click Save Changes
If you’re referring to a specific number of article to display in a category than it needs code customization and you need to hire a developer.
Thank you!

KeymasterHi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
There is no any issue in the NewsCard Pro Theme. The theme is working correctly with the latest version. The problem may be related to a plugin conflict.
Could you please try deactivating your plugins one by one and checking the issue after each deactivation? This will help identify if a specific plugin is causing the problem.
If the issue persists after testing, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist further.
Thank you!

KeymasterHi there,
To put the title before the image in an article it needs code customization you need to hire a developer or you can achieve that by creating a child theme.
Pour placer le titre avant l’image dans un article, une personnalisation du code est nécessaire ; vous pouvez faire appel à un développeur ou créer un thème enfant.
Thank you!

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Just to clarify — there is no create-function in the functions.php file at line 13, so the error might be coming from a different source.
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Temporarily switch to a default WordPress theme (such as Twenty Twenty-Four).
- Delete the current copy of the WP Portfolio Pro theme from your site.
- Download a fresh copy of WP Portfolio Pro from your account.
- Reinstall and activate the theme.
Also, please note that this could be caused by a plugin conflict, rather than the theme itself.
To ensure everything runs smoothly:- Make sure WordPress and all plugins are updated to their latest versions.
- Deactivate any outdated or incompatible plugins that may be causing issues.
If the problem persists, feel free to reach out with more details — we’ll be happy to assist you further.
Thank you!

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thank you for reaching out.
We’d like to confirm that the current free and premium version of WP Portfolio theme is fully compatible with PHP 8.3. If you’re experiencing any issues, it’s likely due to a specific server configuration or a plugin conflict rather than the theme itself.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, please make sure:
- WordPress and all plugins are updated to their latest versions.
- No deprecated or incompatible plugins are causing conflicts.
If the issue persists, feel free to share any error messages or describe the problem in more detail we’ll be happy to help you troubleshoot.
Also, thank you for pointing out the changelog note. We’ll make sure to include PHP version compatibility in future updates for better clarity.
Thank you!

KeymasterHello @eric-6211,
Thank you for reporting the issue.
This notice appears because translation functions or
load_theme_textdomain()were being called too early in the WordPress loading process—specifically, before the init action. As of WordPress 6.7, this triggers a debug notice to help identify such cases. We’ve released an updated version that resolves this by ensuring translations are loaded at the correct point in the WordPress lifecycle.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

KeymasterHi the mb,
The theme has been designed this way by default. To change this behavior, it would require custom code modifications. We recommend hiring a developer for this type of customization.
Thank you for your understanding!
