I want to customize my home page by adding posts from sports and other categories on the home page mid section, the is below

You May Missed

but i an not getting this option ‘ Front Page Content Selection’ to show the posts from particular category.
how do i do it.

I am facing the same problem. I have followed the steps in the video, but my posts/ widgets are still not showing up in the home page mid section. For some reason, I am not getting front page content section as part of widgets in ‘Customise’ theme, but i have to access front page content section from the WordPress dashboard i.e. Apperance – Widgets – front page content section. Pls let me know how i can address this issue & get the widgets/posts i am creating on the front page mid section.

Did you set the “front page template” to one of the page and set that page to your home page as shown in the beginning of the video tutorial?
