What profile details you want to edit? If you are talking about Biographical Info then just login to your account and go to your profile page then click on edit there you can see the section to edit the Biographical Info.

You need to login to your account into our site and just go to download tab to get the latest version of the theme.
After you download the theme just upload it to your WordPress dashboard as you did before and yes the data and settings remain the same and nothing will be removed.
