Just add below custom css code to hide the category from the post and to display the Author Name and Date underneath the Post Title with Post Title on top it need code cutomization you need to hire a developer for this.

Are you trying to set the Home page as no sidebar and blog page with sidebar?
if so please edit the page that you have set as your front page (home page) at the bottom of the page editor you will see layout setting. Set the setting to No sidebar, Full Width and for all the page layout you can set it via Design Options – Default Layout Options.

First edit the page that you want to set it as your front page and at the bottom of the editor page you will see layout setting. Set the setting to No sidebar, Full Width Now set this page as your front page via Settings > Reading and also set any page as your blog page.

Yes it may be the code changed. Just download the fresh copy of the theme and install as you did before.
Backup the current installation of the theme before updating it to latest version.Thank you!

May it was listed because the tag you are using for the post is the top Search Engine key. So that the Google listed those tags rather than the main article. Your tag may be the most searched key than your article post title.
It will be best if you contact to the SEO specialist or to the main author of the SEO plugin that you are using in your theme.Thank you!
