FYI I solved this. I deactivated some unused plugins and one of them must have been interfering with the menus appearing in mobile. Unfortunately I have no idea which, as I deactivated a few at one time, but I’m guessing, based on complexity, that it was either Easy Speak Widget Contact Form or Fast Secure Contact Form or, perhaps, Custom Taglines. At any rate, the problem is solved.

Topic: Sidebar Layout

Clean Retina is a smooth fast theme and I have no problems except for one issue: I cannot make the pages/posts display the sidebar on the left side of the screen. I went through the Installation notes here on this site. All pages are marked as Default Template, all posts are marked as “Default Layout Set In Theme Settings”.

Under Appearance>Theme Options I have the Default Layout Options set to Left Sidebar (I have even used the Reset Layout feature)

Under Home Page Layout Options I have the Left Sidebar selected.

Flushed cache, tried other browsers but sidebar still on the right side. I figure it is a setting I don’t have right but not too sure what it might be.

Almost forgot the plugins. Only had three: Church Pack, Multi-column Tag Map, and Responsive Add Ons. I deactivated all of them and no change in the layout.

Thanks for your answer. I deactivated all the plugins one by one. But it didn’t solve the problem.
Do you have another suggestion?

Ugh! Thanks. I had set up the child theme, but not activated it as the theme. It works now… BUT I’ve lost the attitude pro functionality the the theme settings… Could you direct me to info for how I can set-up the attitude pro child theme without losing functions, like setting the colour of the slogan bar?

What I have done:
- create folder wp-content/themes/attitude-pro-child
- create file wp-content/themes/attitude-pro-child/style.css with content @import url(“../attitude-pro/style.css”);
- create file wp-content/themes/attitude-pro-child/functions.php with the code you provided

Hi Hp,

It’s difficult to figure out the issue just seeing the screenshot. We have not be approached by such issue till now and doesn’t seem to be our theme specific issues. Probably some plugins may create such conflicts try to deactivate the plugins and see if it makes any change.

Hello,

I found this in another post and it is the NextGen gallery that compromises the slider. I deactivated NextGen and slider started working again. see details here: https://www.themehorse.com/support-forum/topic/slider-no-longer-working-after-upgrade-to-attitude-1-2-3-theme/.

Doe anyone know of a workaround for this? Thank you.

Topic: Slider no longer working after upgrade to Attitude 1.2.3 Theme

Hi. I have recently upgraded to the 1.2.3 version of the Attitude free theme and after the upgrade my featured slider pages are no longer working. The display remains on my very first featured page photo. The only change I have made was to install WP-Filebase plugin. I deactivated this plugin and still no slider. I have also tried activating the main theme vs. my child theme, but the slider still does not work.
