To increase the post number just login to you admin dashboard and go to Settings > Reading there you will see Blog pages show at most option where you can increase the post number value as of your choice to shown on the home page.

Hi Carl,

All the sections is displaying a latest posts as default so the everything repeats over and over. You need to choose different post categories for each section. Please follow this video tutorial to set the post category for each section.

To move the back-to-top to the left column just login to your Admin dashboard and go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste below custom css code:
