the latest posts banner is showing correctly on the home page but not on th eposts page any ideas?

Sorry you can not show banner in blog posts single page or in pages. You can show it on homepage (front page) and in blog main page.

OK how can i change the breadcrumb path?
The breadcrumb is default function/plugin used by the Theme. There is no custom option to change its functionality. instead you can hide the breadcrumb from ‘Appearance > Customize > Header’ and check ‘ON’ the option ‘Hide Breadcrumb’.
