Follow this instruction to se the slider and for the post with full content just create a new page and set Blog Full Content Display from the Page Attribute at the right section of the page editor now you can see this page as your blog full content or you can set the page to your front page if you want this page as your front page.

For the slider same like our demo you have to purchase the single license of Revolution Slider Plugin from here which is compatible to this theme.
Activate the plugin into your site and create a slider then go to customizer slider option to set the slider type to revolution slider and select the slider that you have created.

Which widget that you have insert into the testimonial page section? Did you try inserting same widget to another sidebars?
Try deactivating the plugins one by one it may be the plugins conflict.

Yes we have change some code as well as script for the responsive menu which effect the header section. However, It will not change the appearance of your site and we have checked it before pushing it to live.
May you have some custom css code, child theme or changed theme code.
