IF you want to display it in front page only then you can do this.
Go to dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> advanced options -> home page blog category settings
IF you select any category then only the specific category will be displayed in the front page. This effect will be only displayed in the front page only but not in other pages. To have this effect in your front page you need to go to the dashboard -> settings -> reading and select your latest post.
If you want other than this then you need to hire a developer to fix it and customize the code but We recommended not to change the code because if you change the code then while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost. So better make child theme and first unhook the functions and the edit the code.

If you have the latest version the you can update it from the ftp too. Just login to the ftp details from filezilla or any other ftp. First unzip the slider plugins.

Go to public_html -> theme folder (interface-pro) -> wp-content -> plugins and paste or upload revolution slider. If there is already exists revolution slider then first of all delete the revolution slider and then after upload a new version. After doing it activate it from your dashboard and you will have a new version of revolution slider in your dashboard.

Its not necessary, Its for you to understand clearly. You need to create a child theme folder and create a style.css file and import it and also create a functions.php file too and first unhook the functions and then only customize the code.

IF you edit code then first you need to make a child theme and then unhook the functions and after doing this only you can create a child theme and edit the code. We will not provide any help regarding to any code customization because we provide here to support only the theme issue. iF there is any theme then we will provide a support. IF you need other customization then you need to hire a developer to fix it.

Hi first of all if you customize any code you need to create a child theme. We recommended not to change the code because if you change the code then while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost. The file is inside theme folder (interface) -> inc -> structure -> content-extension.php
From this file you can change the 404 page and to change the search form text you can change it from theme folder (interface) -> inc -> structure -> searchform-extension.php

and we are using generic icons for it. to change this code you need language translate. You just need to create a .PO and >MO file and need to add inside the language folder and add your default language inside wp-config.php file.

Then you will be able to change the code.

IF you have customize the code then yes your customization code will be lost. IF you are not customizing any code then you are safe to install theme and can migrate from free version to pro version so before modifying any code first create a child theme and unhook the functions and then only edit the code.

I didn’t get exactly what you mean. You can add featured images instead of using icons in featured image. This revolution slider we have bought an extended version of plugins and we provided a zipped file. but we can’t provide any support and updates about the slider. if there is some issue in revolution slider then we provide the latest update,
if you want Premium support then you need to buy revolution slider and update it from FTP or from the dashboard.
