    Hi,

    I am creating a website for a motor rental company. For the bikes and also for customer feedback we wanted to use the blog image large template but only show post from the category motorbikes (or any other). Is that possible?

    The 2nd related question is if it is possible to hide the category, author and date of the post?

    For the demonstration I create a page: http://www.siggis-bikes.com/bmw

    Many thanks for your reply!

    Hi Markus, You want to use blog image large and to display the content of motorbikes only ? If yes then you go to the

    Dashboard -> setting -> Reading

    Front page dislay : You latest post and then again go to

    Dashboard -> Appearance-> Theme – Options -> Advanced Options -> Home page blog Category setting

    Select any category you want to display. You can choose multiple category too to display.

    Thank you!

    To hide the category, author and date of the post
    Add this code inside
    Dashboard -> Appearance-> Theme – Options -> design-options -> custom css

    .by-author, .date, .cat-links {display:none;}

    Thank you!

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the CSS that works perfectly!

    I have not been clear enough about the other question. I want to create different pages showing different post: one page1 only showing posts from the post-category1, page2 only showing post from page-category2, pagex only showing post from page-categoryx.
    Is that possible?

    By the way, I also do not get an email notification

    Hi Markus,
    This is not possible. You need code customization for it.
    Thank you!

    Any Css?

    Hi Guilherme,
    IF you want to display it in front page only then you can do this.
    Go to dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> advanced options -> home page blog category settings
    IF you select any category then only the specific category will be displayed in the front page. This effect will be only displayed in the front page only but not in other pages. To have this effect in your front page you need to go to the dashboard -> settings -> reading and select your latest post.
    If you want other than this then you need to hire a developer to fix it and customize the code but We recommended not to change the code because if you change the code then while updating to our new version all your customisation code will be lost. So better make child theme and first unhook the functions and the edit the code.

    Thank you!

    I understand your answer but I didn’t get the reason why it is not possible to change, it is important in a blog role. What I need is very simple: I need to choose just ONE categrory to be published. The example is bellow:

    I did create a slide, as you inform as a post and it is published. I don’t want this SLIDE to be populating my blog as news, doesn’t make sense, but he is there. I did create a special category for the slides under the name slides, as I wondering why is on the blog as a proper new if it doesn’t?

    Ok, so you informed me I need to call a developer to do this, but If this request is not at you side of the table, I mean, If this is something so different you can’t offer me a help, I really would like a refund, because this is absolutnately simple OR I am doing something wrong! In this case please let me know where I am doing wrong please.

    Thank you.

    IN TIME:

    Even in the case of the SLIDE, anything I create as a post it is on the blog, as I need just use the blog to spread the news and no any other information I am publishing on the platform.

    Cheers.

    Hi Guilherme,
    If you need to display only one category in your blog post then Go to dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> advanced options -> home page blog category settings

    You can select here multiple category. Selected here category will only be displayed in the front page. If some blog from this category is in your slider and you don’t want to display then
    Go to dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> featured post/page slider -> featured post page slider options
    and click on check box to exclude this category.

    If other than this we can’t provide the coding to you. For this we can’t provide the different support for different people. We provide only the theme regarding issue and some technical error regarding to the theme. If you need other than customization of theme then you need to hire a developer because we can’t provide the coding support according to the client needs.

    Thank you!

    OK, I understand all you said, specially regarding the code, but listen to me please: I did what you mentioned, went there on dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> featured post/page slider -> featured post page slider options
    and click on check box to exclude this category, but even doing this the Slider is coming thru on Blog as a post. Have a look at this page I will send you, but please If is possible let me know asap as the website is under construction so I will let it open just for you to see what is happening. The page FIQUE POR DENTRO on MENU is the Blog, but this link will put you there:
    http://www.gracianoempreendimentos.com.br/novidades/page/3/

    Please let me know what to do.
    Cheers.

    Anyway, as you will kindly visit the website, have a look at this issue I am not able to sort it out so far regarding the gallery:

    http://www.gracianoempreendimentos.com.br/vendidos/colina-verde/

    This is a link of an example of the gallery issue (my mistake probably) I can’t sort it out. If you click on the image, there’s no fancy gallery or nothing, just the link to the original page.

    Could you please give a hint of how to do it properly?
    Cheers.

    Hi Guilherme,
    If you have not changed any custom code then follow the theme instruction first how to set up the gallery page. Its working fine in our demo site so it must work in your site too. I think you are not following the proper guidelines or there may also be some plugin conflict. Due to this it is not showing properly. You can even view in our demo site and its working fine. If there works fine then in your theme too it must work fine.

    Thank you!
