does anyone knows the way to add a link to the header image? I use an image fullsize at header aerea an want to lead back to homepage by setting a link.
It´s no alternative to place the image as an header-logo, because I need to use it without any white space around.
@lindagrandjct Firstly, we had the Home’s Corporate Page Layout only and did not have the Corporate Page template. After that our users asked to provide the Corporate Layout as a Page template so they could use SEO plugins to add the seo meta descriptions and also use as a page rather than only on home page, so we added it and also added some extra features to it. So, we added it later and did not remove the Home’s Corporate Page Layout as some previous users might be still using it.
You could use the Home’s corporate page layout for the home page checking on ‘Your Latest Posts’ option in Settings->Reading. And you could use the Corporate Page Template for any other page.
Is there a way to replace the three horizontal lines with down arrow on the right side of navigation bar with something more intuitive for users? Can you add “menu” for instance? I have had a number of people look at the site on Galaxy and iPhone’s and then ask how you get to the menu.
Hello,
We are looking to have a page that allows a user to log in to our database. It would essentially be a portal to our database. It needs to have side by side log ins, one for a user and one for admin. Any suggestions?
first of all thanks a lot for this great theme!
I was wondering if it is possible to have the header/ nav bar fix when a user starts scrolling down?
I was testing the following custom CSS code (with no success):
I purchased the pro version and trying to created a basic “featured image slider”. However when I click on “Upload Image” from “Theme Options” it doesn’t do anything. I.e. it doesn’t bring up a dialog screen for me to select an image. I tried with different browsers (Explorer/FireFox) and on different PCs (and also disabling the very few other plugins which were installed). I’m an eperienced WordPress user, but first time implementing a website using ‘attitude’. Very strange problem since I’ve no problem uploading images to the WordPress gallery.
Thanks for your response. I checked that the settings were set as you described and they were. It would be fantastic if you could take a look at the back-end so I will email through a username and password. Cheers.
Go to Settings->Readings->Front page displays and check “Your latest post” Also go to Appearance->Theme Options->Home page/Front page category settings and choose blog then click save. This should do the work.
If you still face issue then we need to look into your backend. If you can provide us temporary username and password here in this mail https://www.themehorse.com/support-forum/ we will have a look on the issue.
Currently we don’t have footer editor options in our free version of our theme. But if you upgrade to Pro you can edit the footer copyright info and other info with your own.
Yes we are working on search feature on our forum to make it more user friendly. We will add it surely.
