ParticipantContent I’ve put in the section of Advanced Options called Corporate Page Template Options shows. Content I’ve put in the section above it, Home’s Corporate Type Layout Options doesn’t show up. What am I not doing?

Participant@lindagrandjct To select the Home’s Corporate Page Layout, Latest Posts option should be checked in the Reading sub-menu of Settings menu.
Go to Settings->Reading->Check on ‘Your Latest Posts’. You can learn more about it here https://www.themehorse.com/theme-instruction/clean-retina-pro/#HomepageLayoutConfiguration.August 27, 2013 at 5:27 pm #3628lindagrandjct
ParticipantSo now I know that the Home’s Corporate Page Layout is shown when I have “Your Latest Posts” checked and not static page. And with static page the content in “Corporate Page Template Options” is shown. It took me a long time to figure out there are two options for corporate home page. It’s confusing. The titles of the section are so close and I look at them and want both on my home page. I can’t be the only person who has struggled with this. Maybe that could be clarified.
Can we have both?
Thanks.August 28, 2013 at 7:09 am #3640Sanjip Shah
Participant@lindagrandjct Firstly, we had the Home’s Corporate Page Layout only and did not have the Corporate Page template. After that our users asked to provide the Corporate Layout as a Page template so they could use SEO plugins to add the seo meta descriptions and also use as a page rather than only on home page, so we added it and also added some extra features to it. So, we added it later and did not remove the Home’s Corporate Page Layout as some previous users might be still using it.
You could use the Home’s corporate page layout for the home page checking on ‘Your Latest Posts’ option in Settings->Reading. And you could use the Corporate Page Template for any other page.August 28, 2013 at 3:28 pm #3646lindagrandjct
ParticipantHello Sanjip,
I get it. I don’t think I’m dense, and I do read the documentation, but I did have a hard time with that one. Perhaps you could explain it in the Advanced Options section in case others have or will have the same issue???
Thank you again for your reply.
I’m going to hope for smooth sailing now.
