Remove the code that you have added manually and go to Appearance -> Customize/Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save button:

    color: #05a9c5;
}

Not need to add Custom CSS there is a color option in premium version where you can easily set the background color for specific sections. To change the footer background color Go to Appearance -> Customize -> Ambition Theme Options -> Background Color and change the color of Footer Widget Section

If you are talking about the slider? then to move the title down to the left, and to show the title, no text box go to Appearance -> Customize/Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save button:

Interface theme have not this option Edit this row –> General –> Row Stretch –> Stretch row and content (no padding) How you get this option is that from some plugins?

Sorry! There is no any issue in the featured images you set to the pages and the contact between the home page.
May some of the plugin conflict the code and broke the contact between between the featured image and the homepage. Anyways you can set the image and the home page again. If there is again the same issue please let us know.
