It’s happen due to the location feature that you are using into your site where the text field placeholder is selected by default which load the content to it’s exact section down to the page.
There may be some settings/option to disable the placeholder selection by default.

No you need not have to install any plugin nor have to purchase the premium version to achieve the grid gallery as in our demo.
Just set your home page to latest post and add featured image to all of your post and you are done.

For the banner you can use Custom HTML Widget and add some html code.

Hi Wolfgang,

WooCommerce product category, posts, post categories and post tags pages works as archive page so for the archive page you have to set the layout setting via Appearance > Customize > Ambition Theme Options > Content Layout to any of the layout that you wish. You can not set different layouts for different archive pages and we have designed the theme this way.

For to set a different sidebar for WooCommerce it needs code customization you have to hire a developer as this is a new feature to add in the theme. Hope we may add this feature in near future too but can not able to give you a fixed date.
