    Hi! Or is WPGlobus good to use with your themes? It seems to be working together with it

    WPGlobus has options to translate theme settings (for example content in footer) but it does not work. Both translations (im my case finnish and english) are showing in footer, not as it should(english content in en-site and finnish content in finnish-site). I need to get translated footer, I have added cooperation links and logos there, and heading.

    Hi Heidi,

    We are sorry for this. Our theme is not compatible with qTranslate X or Polylang plugins. Our theme is only translation ready but not compatible with the multilingual plugins. For this you need to hire a developer.

    Thank You!

    Hi Heidi,

    Yes, you may use footer sidebar and drag and drop text widgets to footer sidebar and use the shortcode.

    Thank you!

    Hi, I dont’ mean sidebars!! I have text and logos here, at bottom of the site (added to footer field in theme options).
    I need to translate word ‘Yhteistyössä’ to english. This is only problem with using some plugin.
    I have tried to add widget shortcode to footer field in theme options but it does not work.

    Hi Heidi,

    We are sorry for this. If it doesn’t support then it needs code customization. Goto theme folder (ambition-pro) -> inc -> structure -> footer-extension.php on line no 77 you will find below code.
    $ambition_footer_info = '<div class="copyright">'.$foot_edit.'</div><!-- .copyright -->';

    Remove this code you can add your shortcodes in this way.

    $ambition_footer_info .= '<div class="copyright">'.$foot_edit.'</div><!-- .copyright -->';
    $ambition_footer_info .= 'Your Shortcode goes here';

    Note: If you make a direct changes in the code then while updating to new version all your customized code will be lost. So, you need to do the same customization again and again. So better make a child theme so that while updating to new version, your customized code will not be lost.

    Thank you!
