    Hello –

Here is a link to my site…http://www.dogwalkercrystallake.com

I am having a problem with Google not displaying my – WordPress SEO PlugIn – titles, instead I get “About” showing when my site shows in searches. It seems to be grabbing the title of my home page (Can I remove the “About” on my home page?) I think it’s h2 in the HTML.

When I go to the web master and check structural data

    Extracted structured data
    hatom-feed
    hatom-entry:

    entry-title: About
entry-content: Let’s Go For A Walk|Pet Sitting|Dog Walking|Crystal Lake, IL Call Us: 815-455-0837 Welcome to the Let’s Go For A Walk website, enjoy looking around and if you have any questions please…

    Error: Missing required field “updated”.
    Error: Missing required hCard “author”.

Can I manipulate THE HTML to achieve this?

I love this theme! Please help.

    Thank You – Carol

Well I figured it out, but what I find interesting is that the way Google indexes pages it was picking up the page title located within the page and using it as my snippet/SEO title.

    ABOUT
Welcome to lets go for a walk pet sitting……….. etc……

After reading extensively about the “NEW” way Google is indexing, it is so very important to have your page headings relevant, as well as the beginning of your home page text.

I did delete the page title by adjusting the CSS code, but this would only work through Appearances – Editor. It would not work through the themes CSS editor. This solved my SEO problem straight away.

Anyway Thank You Very Much For This Awesome Theme!

    Hi Carol and Sanjip,

I was wondering if either of you could share the solution to that problem. I’m using Clean Retina Pro and can’t figure out how to fix the “Error: Missing required field “updated”

    My thanks in advance.
