ok, I have deleted the theme, and I have downloaded attitude pro 1.7 to my desktop. Now when I try to upload the only zip file in there (revslider.zip) I get this message:

“Installing Theme from uploaded file: revslider.zip
    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.”

    What am I doing wrong!!??

    Hi All,

    for Naresh and illianduggan
If you have not customise any code then you are safe to upgrade our new version and the content will not be lost. But if you have customise the code then ofcourse you may loose the code.

Just goto the dashboard -> appearance -> themes
First activate any theme twentyfourteen or twenty twelve or any theme you have in your dashboard

Then click on theme and at the right side there is delete options. Then you may delete the theme.

    Hi debbie2up,

We are sorry for this error. We have update our theme compatible to WordPress 4.0 and disable some function that make error for the site.
Login to our site with the same username and password while you have purchase the theme and download the latest version of the theme.
If you have still one year subscription you will have access to the download the update file

    Thank you!

This is so confusing. Please tell me there’s a simpler way or a post that has the exact instructions specifically.

    I totally agree with you.

We are getting very shoddy support (or lack of it) for a paid product. Themehorse team must post step-by-step instructions for dealing with it in plain understandable English.

If we don’t get a satisfactory solution I suggest we take to their twitter feed @theme_horse to complain.

I’m flabbergasted and concerned about the comment that if I’ve made any modifications to the theme, when I update/install I will lose all that???? I spent HOURS doing that. The last update came via the Dashboard and didn’t cause issues. Why can’t it be done that way versus having to start from scratch on an install?

I can’t seem to find the download area anywhere, I can see where I paid and I do have the subscription. Could we get clearer instructions on where this is located?

You shouldn’t lose your content as long as you didn’t re-code anything you’ll be okay. I switched to attitude free before deleting attitude premium and then loading the updated theme. I lost nothing so you should be fine!

In order to de-activate, go to themes, and hover over your current theme, a de-activate button should appear. Once de-activated, do the same thing and click theme options: click on delete (bottom right corner). Then you can add the new theme that you’ve downloaded from this website.

    Hi all,
If you have not customised any code then nothing will be lost.

    How to download ?
Just login to themehorse.com and then click on account. Then you can see the download button and you can download it.

    Thank you!

I’m getting the same error messages and tried to update theme but like many others, it failed. I’m using a child theme so my Attitude Pro is NOT active, my child theme is active. Dang, I sure don’t want to lose my content. Can you post an UPDATE rather than having us delete the theme and reinstall? As a novice, I’d be much more comfortable with that!!! Thanks
