IF you set the blog to full content display then your image will not be displayed. To have this image you may add images at editor. We have designed our theme this way.

Hi Patricia,
you want to call a page as display it as a home page ? Then here is the solution.

Create a page and at the right side there is template and you may select it to the corporate template. then save it.

To display this as a front page then go to dashboard -> settings -> reading -> choose static page (your page )

and save it.

Now the selected page will be displayed in the home page. Just follow the theme instructions too.
