This is the wordpress default page while you install the WordPress. You just go to the dashboard -> pages -> sample page (trash it and delete it.)

While migrating to the new path there may be some database path issue. So you need to add it again. If anything is changed then the content in the sidebar you added is not displayed. So you need to add it again. Actually while migrating the path will be changed and if path changed then the sidebar your added content will not be displayed.

If you modified the css via our custom css inside our theme options then you are safe on the new updates but it you have changed the file in style.css then all your customisation code will be lost. So you need to create a child theme to be secure from data loss while updating.

We don’t have this feature so you need to hire a developer to fix it. If you don’t want featured image then why are you adding images in featured post/ page. just don’t add images and it will not show. If you want to display the images in detail page then you may add the images in the editor.
