    Hi,
I just started learning WordPress and I have been working hard trying to create a decent site. Suddenly I did something (I wished I knew what) that caused a duplicate but jumbled up looking menu to show up in the footer area. Any idea of what caused it or how to remove it? I cannot find anything wrong in the Appearance/Menu. I know this theme only has one menu by default so I wasn’t trying to add a second menu. I have not even created widgets yet nor worked in the footer. I did take a look at he wp-footer.php at the server but didn’t touch anything. The site is bensbedding dot com. I appreciate any assistance.

OK, I fixed it and I must admit that in my learning process I had added a widget in the Customize Theme, on the Footer Sidebar and although it didn’t had any pages selected, this caused it to put there the pages I have. When I removed this footer widget the unwanted menu disappeared. Sounds so silly I feel embarrassed, but my experience may help another newbie.
