    Hi there,

Don’t worry about this anymore, I have fixed it, after finding a similar post on the forum of the free NewsCard theme. The problem was the plugin I used to make the child theme, which was Child Theme Generator by Serafino Corriero. I made a new child theme using the plugin Child Themify by John P. Bloch and the problem was solved.

    Kind regards,
    Marie

Like I said, I am centering my images, but still they align right, despite the code align=”aligncenter” being in there. Is there a solution for this?

Ah okay, thank you. I am not using Gutenberg just yet. Is there any other way to get it to center without using Gutenberg?

Okay, I realized now that I had to use the second part in combination with the first, and then it works perfectly, thank you!

    Kind regards,
    Marie

I have tried that but unfortunately it doesn’t work. Is there something else I can try?

Many thanks for your quick reply. This works perfectly on a single post, but on the front page I now see the date and then a slash behind it. How do I get rid of the slash?

    Kind regards,
    Marie
