Thank you, this does successfully centre the 2 service lines, but now the width of their text line is wider than the other services. Is there a way to limit the width of the text? http://www.owentutoring.com

I’ve got it set up now as you requested on my main page here: http://owentutoring.com/

Note that because I use the widget in two places on the main page, I am now using 3 instances of the widget (twice for the course subject listings and once for the Services listing below it). It would be great if the CSS could fix the centering on both sets of the 2 item lines (the Chemistry/Biology line and the Private/Group tutoring line). Thank you again for the help.

This doesn’t solve my original question. Do you have any solutions that can address what I originally asked: I’d love to be able to put 3 services on one line and two on the next line, with both lines centered.

    Hello,

Thank you for this code. This succeeded in created 3 widget columns instead of 4, but it doesn’t not help me achieve a centred look. Now my lines with 2 widgets only look uncentered. Is there a way to simply centre everything?

    Hello,

What is the “appropriate width” to use?

Hello, thank you for your reply. Yes, this is what I’m asking for instructions on how to do. Could you provide some more details on how to do this? As I mentioned in my first post, I tried to do that initially, using a 1440×300 pixels image (recommended in the comments in the php code) and setting my header to “Custom Header”. It was blown up huge and took took up a lot of the screen and was centered horizontally (it wasn’t restricted to that left corner like the screenshot that you linked to). What are the recommended dimensions for the image and how to I achieve getting the logo in that position in the theme settings?
