Hi Sir,

I am using free version of News card Theme. It’s looking good in all the things but YouTube Embedded Video not display in Main page(Home Page).
I have add new – Post – add – new post – Paste my embedded code and save it’s successfully displayed in post page but not in main page.
I am not using Featured Image because I am using YouTube video link so it will look bad.

So can you help me in this??

Hi Darshan Mangukiya,

Only the image set as featured image will be shown on home page (Front Page Template) for that you need to customize the Theme code and it cannot be done just through provide the Custom CSS code.

Please let us know if you have any other queries regarding the Theme

Ok we got it.

The Site you have mentioned haven’t used the Vide as Featured Image/video. Actually it’s the Featured Image with Play icon but not a video and the video is embed inside its main page hiding the featured Image.

Please use the below code to embed the youtube Video through HTML.

  (Paste your embedded code here)
</div>

Please paste the embedded code as mentioned above.
OR
If you are using the WordPress 5+ then you can use the Embeds Block Features of Gutenberg on the page/post editor page which will be very easy to use the embedded code with out any HTML code customization.

And if you don’t want to show the Featured Image on your Main Content Page then you can control to show/hide from ‘Appearance, Customize > NewsCard Settings’.

Sorry it cannot be done just through provide Custom CSS code. You really need to hire a developer to customize the Theme Code as it will be the new feature for the Theme.

sometimes it does not work, when it does not work it just shows the URL and no image at all
not predictable

Thank you for helping, But its not about embedding video on content page. It’s about showing play icon in the position of Featured Image.
