I’m having odd results in the slider. The images are displaying zoomed in and pixelated. I’ve created slider images that are 1230 x 445 but I’m only seeing the middle third or so of the image. It’s filling the screen width but not using the full width of the image. I can’t send a link because I can’t publish it yet.

Any advice?

There is no recommended size for sliders because the slider is 100% with the screen. If you want to have the high quality view of the image then you have to upload the large image size more than 1230px X 445 px.

Thanks, but that doesn’t explain why it’s not showing the full width of the image. The image is filling the screen width, but a lot of the image on the left and right is cropped out. I’ve done a screenshot of the page and included the draft image file I’m using so you can see what I mean. This image is 3300 pixels wide. Does it need more pixel width because of retina displays?

HI Leeann,

Did you customize and code? If not then first of all deactivate all the plugins that you have installed in your dashboard. If the same issue exist Go to Apperance > customize > Ambition Theme Options > custom CSS and paste below CSS Code:

.featured-slider .featured-image {
    min-height: 260px;
}

We have already update above CSS code in our latest version but it seems that it was not loaded in your site.
