I am using Attitude (Free) and have just lost all my widgets again! This first happened after upgrading to WordPress 3.9 when I previewed another theme. I found this https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/27897 which explains it better but I thought it had been fixed but today I tried previewing a theme and the same thing happened. All the widgets have been dumped as inactive and I will have to go through them all again and replace them.
According to the ticket above this has been fixed but if it has, why is it still happening? Is it because I have set up my site wrongly? I am using the business layout and all I have is the slider and call to action button on the home page. I realise this isn’t your fault but I thought I would let you know to see if you knew of any reason why it is still happening.
