It would be great if the widget “TH recent post” could determine the number of posts as well as the category. Can this be implemented? I have not found a setting. Can you help me?
Sorry you cannot display the post by category in ‘TH Recent Post’ widget. Since the widget itself is named as a ‘Recent Post’ so it displays your recent post only.
But you can set the number of posts to display in this widget by adding your desired digit in the ‘number of post’ input field where you can see the default number is ‘4’.
Yes you can but it need code customization and you need to hire developer as this will be a new feature to add in the theme which needs registering a new widget adding category posts option.
