Hi Rabin,
is there a way to suppress the blog posts that are used to define the slider images and texts in the blog itself?
In my case the images and texts that I show in the homepage slider are not meant to be blog posts. The should not appear in the blog. Thanks, Jörg.

If you are not using page template to show blog posts then you can use this option
Go to Appearance->Theme options->Slider Options->Featured Post/page slider options->and check the Exclude Slider post from Homepage posts? optionRabin

thanks for your answer. I had already checked this option.
Problem is that we have a separate page for our blog – it is not shown on the home page. That separate page is a static page using one of your “Blog…” templates (in our case: “Blog Image Medium”).
And for such blog pages the option that you mention does NOT remove the slider related postings. Is there any solution for our problem?
Thanks, Jörg.

If you don’t want the slider posts to show up in your blogs why don’t you create page slider instead of post slider. Just create pages and upload the slider images and put your page id instead of post id.

I head no IDEA, I could use static pages to hold the slider data. The theme instructions only tell to use blog posts for that purpose.
Many thanks for your help. It’s working like a charm now!
Cheers, Jörg.
