Is there a way that I may change the color of the social media icons at the top of page – i.e., to a darker gray #999999

For that you have to edit the image to edit it go to the the theme main directory > images > there you can find the social-icons.png

I do not find “Main Directory” or “Images” – Where do I find the specific words “Main Directory” and “Images”?

I have looked through all elements and sub-menu items of of the “Appearance Options”: Site Identity, Header Image, Menus, Widgets, Design Options, Advanced Options, Social Links, Webmaster Tools, Tools, Plugins, Media and Settings – and yet do not find “Main Directory”> “Images”.

Please advise where specifically to locate “Main Directory” and “Images”.

Hi becci,

Sorry not from there. You have to go inside the theme directory (the theme file where you have downloaded zipped a file.)goto theme folder (attitude-pro -> images)

Each and every time you update the theme, you have to replace the image file. Make a backup of main theme file while updating to new version because updating to new version all your customised code and images will be lost so better make a child theme to be safe from data loss while updating to new version.
