Hi I had downloaded the 1.0.6 version of this but saw 1.0.8 was available so deleted old style and installed this one…then had issue so had to clean install WHOLE wordpress…now when I installed the theme I don’t seem to be able to find the Revolution Slider plugin. Last time I thought it installed automatically – this time it didn’t and now I don’t have it!
Please send link to download slider plugin as it was included in the PRO version I bought or explain how I do that…

Hi David,

Yes our themes pack the revolution slider plugin before but now our themes no longer pack the revolution slider plugin inside the theme because of WordPress.org policy which have non GPL code. Also It is quite difficult for us to provide the support as well as it’s difficult for the customers to auto update the new version. So we removed it from the next version.

note: when installing the Revolution Slider update if you had installed the Patch for Revolution… you will get this: “Revolution Slider hack attempt detected and logged.”
Need to network deactivate patch.
Also the install is done not by going to the update or uploading in the plugin section of WP but by going into RS and at the bottom clicking on the manual install.
Notice also that it changes the name to “slider revolution” in the plugins area but is still the same product?
