I need to have custom page titles and am trying to add a site title, but when I do so, it shows up where there is supposed to be an image logo…how can I get rid of this title in my header…http://goo.gl/kC69dq

Actually looks like it is the image alt showing up for some reason

Well, this is the code that removed it:

display: none;
}

The above code also removed the additional space that I could not get rid of 🙂
