Hi all,

How do I stop the slider posts from appearing in the blog on the homepage and when you click through previous posts?

My site is Cottage Flair. Any help will be much appreciated. Cheers!

If you don’t want slider then go to Appearance->Theme Options->Slider Options->Slider Options and check the Disable slider option

We want the slider on the homepage but the slider images are showing up as posts in the blog feed. We don’t want slider images coming up in the blog roll.

Hi Rabin,

The “Exclude Slider post from Homepage posts box” is checked. Yet we are still seeing slider posts in the blog roll. Do you have any other solutions?

Go to Settings->Reading->Front page displays->and select Your latest posts

Click Save Changes

I have checked this also and Your latest posts is selected. But we are still seeing the ‘slider’ posts in the blog as you can see here.

Hi,

If you don’t want the slider to show in your blog post then it would be better you create page slider. Simply upload slider images for pages and use page id instead.
