Hallo dear support-team,

as you can see on the home page of my website: http://www.frankensprecher.de the TH: Featured Recent Work Widget called “Aktuelles” doesn´t work correctly any more. When I create a new post and publish it, the Recent Work Widget “Aktuelles” shows only the posts until 5th of july 2016. What can cause this problem?
I appreciate your help.

Sorry!The Recent work widget content is set from pages not from the post. You can set the selected page manually for the recent work widget.

Dear support-team,

I´m sorry, I´m contacting you again, but I think I have to specify my problem.
When you clicked on the recent work widget “Aktuelles” on the home page a few month ago (until middle of July) it was linked with the posts page, where all new posts where shown. Now, the new posts (since 14.07.2016) aren´t shown any more, although I´m still using the static front page and “Aktuelles” is set as posts page. I didn´t change anything, it´s just not working anymore. What´s wrong? I really need your help!

Hi maggy_muninger,

Sorry we have not set blog post in recent work widget. However your developer may have customized the code to show the blog post in recent work widget. Might be you have updated to latest version and your customized code is lost and back to default.
So we always recommended you to create a child theme so that while updating to new version your customized code will not be lost.
