I purchased this theme on the impression that I could customise the related posts section etc etc.

    * The ‘trending stories’ section doesn’t update to the most viewed posts – I shouldn’t have to create a ‘trending’ category. That defeats the point.
    * I can’t change the foot posts to ‘same as current category’.

For the price, I have paid the minimum I expect is this functionality. You imply in your pre-purchase documentation that I can do this but in reality, you can’t.

    Please advice ASAP.

    Hi Matt,

    Apologies for the late reply.

    * Can you please clarify which ‘Trending Stories’ section you are talking about? There is no Trending Posts section which automatically shows the most viewed posts.

    * You can change the footer featured posts to latest posts as well as any category and any post number you like just go to Customizer > Footer Featured Posts there you can set the posts type you like to set.

    Thank you!

On your demo – you have a ‘Trending Stories’ section – it appears this relies on a Category rather than on views.

The footer featured posts can’t be changed to match the current posts category.

It just leads to a whole load of duplicate links to posts all over the site.

For a ‘Pro’ theme – its not very ‘Pro’.

    Highly disappointed.

    Hi Matt,

Yes, Trending Stories section relies on a category rather than on views.

For to set the category posts for footer featured posts just see this video tutorial.

Yes the demo data was set to whole from the latest posts because of category id which will miss match with customer site. You have to set the category for each and every sections individually. You can see this video tutorial for to set category from different sections manually.

    Thank you!
