hi i really like the business layout.
particularly the TH:recent work and the TH:Services.
these link to pages.

any way of getting them to link to posts?

it would be nice to have another way other than the slider to link to posts on a static home page.

for example I would like to setup a section
Must Read Posts and have 3 links like the TH: services links but to posts not pages.

Hi neil.paul,
We are sorry for this. We have designed our theme this way. TH:recent work and the TH:Services. will only link to pages not the post.
If you want to display post link with slider then you simply add post id to display in slider. Use featured image in post.
Then go to dashboard -> appearance -> theme options -> featured post page slider -> featured post/page slider options and add your post id.
