Hi,

I have this strange problem: the number of slides in my “page slider” (the images of the header on the home page) is changing automatically (see idrasimulation.com).

I had 3 sliders for a long time. Some weeks ago, I added a 4th image, but every one or two day, the page stops displaying this new image.

I then have to go to:
-> Appearance -> Theme Option -> Feature Post/Page Slider -> Slider Option

The “Number of Slides” field is correctly set to 4, so I simply hit “save all changes”. This solves the problem, but I have to repeat this almost every day or two.

Any idea how to solve that?

Hi pilafa.

i just visited to your site and its working fine too. We have not encountered this problem so once you deactivate all the plugins that you have installed in your dashboard and check if you get the same problem again.

Thanks for your answer.

As I said, it happens only once every day or two days.
If the problem continues I will try the “plugin solution”.

But if you visit my website again, you will see that now some text appear in the dots (seems to be misaligned numbers).

Maybe it is possible to add something to

#controllers a {
background-color: #404040;
color: #D8D8D8;
}

…to change the color of those numbers?

Hi again,

As expected, after a couple of days the problem came back (only 3 slides showed instead of 4 – see initial post).

I deactivated all the plugins, and the slider still shows only 3 slides even if the page “-> Appearance -> Theme Option -> Feature Post/Page Slider -> Slider Option” is properly set to 4 slides.

I don’t what to try to solve this. Any suggestions?

Hi Pilafa,

To remove the digit in the controller dots you have to set the same color for digit too.
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Custom CSS paste the following CSS code and Click on save all changes button:

#controllers a {
background-color: #404040;
color: #404040;
}

About slider issue please provide us the temporary username and password of your WordPress admin site via Email so that we can have a look into your issue.
