    I’ve created a static home page using the business template, exactly according to the theme instructions. But no matter what I do, the page doesn’t display any content at all, there’s nothing between the slider and footer. Using 3.9.1.

    I saw on the wordpress forum that someone else was having the same problem around a year ago, but it was never resolved.

    What am I missing?

    This is what the body tag says:

    <body class="home page page-id-66 page-template page-template-page-template-business-php logged-in admin-bar no-customize-support ">

    and with default template:

    <body class="home page page-id-8 page-template-default logged-in admin-bar no-customize-support ">

    Hi david.danaan,

    To add slogan,
    Dashboard -> Appearance-> Theme – Options -> Advanced Options -> Home slogan options
    From here you can add slogan.

    To add the services
    First create a page / post with the featured image what you want to display.

    Then go to Dashboard -> Appearance-> widgets
    there is business page sidebar and at left side there is themehorse : service widget. Drag it to the business page. Then it will appear as a dropdown. select the page you want to display.

    Please send the url of your site too.

    Thank you!

    Ok, thanks for the reply. It sounds like using the business template I can only display content through the widgets, and not regular edited text. I didn’t realize that. That would explain the missing content.

    Yes david danaan.
    We have designed our theme this way. IF you want to display all content then you need code customization or hire a developer to fix the issue.

    Thank you!
