I have just downloaded and activated Polylang, so that I can translate the page to english. The main laungage is Norwegian.
I would like the flags to appear in the header, or underneath the social links, side by side.
Can you please help me? Or maybe side by side in footer center align?

If you like to add then it needs code customization and need to hire a developer as this is a new feature to be added on the theme. Adding the icon on menu is not possible. Yes you can add icon on menu but it does not appear correctly.
Do you have a code for the footer then? I can put it in the footer as a widget, but I would like it to appear side by side in the middle. Anything I can write in the custom CSS?
Add that widgets in footer column and then provide us your site Url? If it will be possible to appear side by side in the middle, we will help you by providing custom css.
