I am using Ambition (Premium) with the right sidebar configured to display recent posts and post categories. I would like to use the left sidebar to show Woocommerce product categories.

The problem I am facing is that there is no individual configuration for Woocommerce, so it is using the layout set for the rest of the site. How can I achieve this?

Another issue I have is that there is no way to set the layout for the posts, post categories and post tags pages. Any solution?

Hi Marc,

WooCommerce product category, posts, post categories and post tags pages works as archive page so for the archive page you have to set the layout setting via Appearance > Customize > Ambition Theme Options > Content Layout to any of the layout that you wish. You can not set different layouts for different archive pages.

Thanks for the reply. That’s the problem I am facing. If I set the layout to display the right sidebar with my blog archive pages, they also appear in my Woocommerce, where they make no sense.

Some themes allow you to set a different Content Layout or sidebar for Woocommerce, so it shows Woocommerce archives pages instead of the blog archive pages.

Hi Marc,

Yes the default sidebar setting option in customizer is for all the archive page and the WooCommerce is also an archive page.
For to set a different sidebar for WooCommerce it needs to customize the code you have to hire a developer as this is a new feature to add in the theme.
