Hello.
I have just updated to version 4 and all pages on my website now have a button named “Responsive Menu” next to the search box at the top of the page. This appears on the PC display but not on the mobile display.

August 2, 2017 at 5:32 am #52498Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi all,
Did you guys have a child theme activated? We have removed and added some javascript in new version. So you have created a child theme then you have to enqueue current scripts/css and remove previous scripts/css which is not currently in use.
Thank you!
August 2, 2017 at 10:50 am #52509DoppaParticipantHello,
I’m sorry, I do have a child theme but I don’t understand what you mean or what I need to do?
August 2, 2017 at 11:29 am #52512Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Doppa,
Please provide us your site url and Email Us a zip file of your child theme. We will look onto it.
Thank you!
August 2, 2017 at 12:16 pm #52513DoppaParticipantHello,
Thanks for your quick response. I will send the zip file of the child theme when I have time later today but in the meantime I have emailed my site url to you.
Thanks again.

August 3, 2017 at 11:09 am #52536DoppaParticipantHello,
I use Opera and have just checked but it is still showing the button. I checked in Chrome but it is not there. Me7 also said he had the button so I wonder which browser he was using?
August 3, 2017 at 11:47 am #52538Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterhi Doppa,
If you are talking about the menu button right to the side of search icon that is the navigation toggle for small devices and this is the new menu style that we have recently update in our theme and it is not an issue.
If you mean other than this please provide us the screenshot.
Thank you!
August 3, 2017 at 1:19 pm #52545DoppaParticipantHello,
Yes, the button is to the left of the search icon on every page.
Is it possible for me to remove this as it does not look very professional on a desktop/laptop computer, especially as nothing happens when it is pressed? It just looks like bad coding making my website look amateurish or can I at least hide it?
August 4, 2017 at 6:00 am #52555Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Doppa,
We have visited to your site url and its working fine. There is no any button we have seen on desktop/laptop computer however the button will display in smaller devices as a responsive menu which is a new menu style we have added in recent update and this is not an issue.
If you are still getting the button on desktop/ laptop computer it may be due to cache that you have not cleared properly. We have screenshot on opera here.
Please provide us your screenshot too.
Thank you!
August 4, 2017 at 10:33 pm #52613DoppaParticipantHello,
I have sent you a screenshot in an email showing the “Responsive Menu” button next to the search box in Opera.
August 7, 2017 at 4:50 am #52623Theme Horse Support TeamKeymasterHi Hi Doppa,
We saw your screenshot and it seems that your site is loading from opera browser cache. You need to fully clear your opera browser cache.
Here is the link how to clean browser cache in operaAlso if you have installed any cache plugins then deactivate cache from your dashbaord, If using cloudflare then also purge clear your cache and also from ftp.
Thank you!
