Hi,

Whenever I active the Ambition premium theme I am no longer able to access the admin area of wordpress, when that theme is deactivated all works ok.

This only started today, I have been building the website for a couple of days with this theme without any issue, it just suddenly started happening today. I have tried deleting the theme and re-installing it but unfortunately I get the same error.

Do you know how I could fix this?

We have just checked it and the theme works fine without any issue.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply – it turns out it was a problem with a conflicting plugin and once that was disabled it sorted itself out.
The website has now been live for a week and seems to be working ok, however, I have just logged in to check some settings – have gone to the customise page, at which point I get a HTTP 500 error as well. I am also getting this error on my localserver development test site.

Nothing has changed on the website in the past week to cause this – I haven’t even logged in! Could you please help me?

Did you customize any theme code?
Actually the 500 Internal Server Error is a “server-side” error, meaning the problem is not with the theme.

Hi,

No, I haven’t modified any code – the reason I think this is a theme issue is because it only happens when this theme is active. If i activate any other theme such as one of the pre-installed ones then the error doesn’t happen.
