Hi all,

I’m using the business template and I’m getting nuts about these excerpts, especially in the service widget and the slider.
Example: I’m using the service widget to promote some events: so I need a break <br /> between date, time, and location
My HTML is going to be ignored in those excerpts, also when I try to change the color of the text (just for testing).

I tried severeal hints via google, e.g. the plugin RAW HTML, but nothing helped.
I think I have to find something saying to the excerpt-string, that it has to ignore HTML.
I have no clue what this could be – had a look at the CSS, the functions.php and the ambition-widgets.php and also in WPs formatting.php

Is there anybody with a solution or idea?

Ok, I fixed it now: all you have to do is to delete / uncomment this line in the formatting.php:
$string = strip_tags($string);

Which theme are you using? As we don’t have formatting.php in our theme.
