    I’m trying to validate W3C the theme, but i’m getting always just one error:

    Error Line 199, Column 43: Element hgroup not allowed as child of element div in this context. (Suppressing further errors from this subtree.)
    <hgroup id=”site-logo” class=”clearfix”>
    Content model for element div:
    Flow content.
    Error Line 199, Column 43: The hgroup element is obsolete. To mark up subheadings, consider either just putting the subheading into a p element after the h1-h6 element containing the main heading, or else putting the subheading directly within the h1-h6 element containing the main heading, but separated from the main heading by punctuation and/or within, for example, a span class=”subheading” element with differentiated styling. To group headings and subheadings, alternative titles, or taglines, consider using the header or div elements.
    <hgroup id=”site-logo” class=”clearfix”>

    May you know how to change it to release the problem?

    Hi cesariongelvez,

    Recently some changes have been made in HTM5 and the hgroup tag has been removed from HTML5 so it’s showing the error. We will be fixing this in our version update of the theme.

    Hi,

    I wondered if the Clean Retina theme would be updated to remove the group element soon? I noticed that this thread is nearly a year old and the theme hasn’t been updated, do you know when or if it will be?
    Many thanks
    Si

    Thank you!
