Hi, does anyone know how we can get the demo hero/slider at top as in demo? Business template not work very well in my setup, so I used the “widgets on pages” plugin with the default template to recreate the effect, but dont know how to recreate the demo header slider?

Hi Anthony,

For slider you have to use the theme built in slider as shown in the demo. If you need to use a different slider then it needs code customization you need to hire a developer as this is a new feature to add in the theme.

Actually slider works with sticky post or selected tags.
Please see this doc if you can not set it yourself then let us know.

Hi, I just want to replace the slider presently there (3rd party plugin) as its not performing very well, with the theme slider.
It is at https://onestopglass.co.uk/ with 5 slides in it.

Does it have to be used with business template, as I cant get that to work?

Hi Anthonymcgowan1,

No, you need not have to set the business template for the page to display the slider.You can set the page to default as well. Slider only display at the front page only.

Hi, OK got that, you did the slider for Wowsome theme, which is working fine (except cant exclude them from blog page at mo), but how to enable on Ambition theme, set up is slightly different with “featured content” instead of “post slider”.
And can it be used without header bg image (on Ambition theme) ?

Hi, I got this OK thanks for help, just a question about image sizes, I am going to try 1200×750 or thereabouts which I think display OK except for mobile when they stay too big and dont resize properly. Is there a recommended way to resize these feature front page images for mobile 320px?

Current ones are 720×450 at https://onestopglass.co.uk

Hi, also is it possible to get the 5 images to display over the same background image, I tried page-title-image background but it didnt show up?

Hi Anthony,

The slider image will scale to your screen size and cover the whole screen.
What do you meant by same background image for 5 images please clarify?
