after installation, I’m facing a problem in setting up the home page. I have watched the tutorial but after following the video when I try to customize my front page and click on widgets the message appears

” Your theme has 3 other widget areas, but this particular page does not display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customiser to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”

I’m unable to add or edit widgets please guide me on how to fix this issue.

Hi there,

You also need to choose the built-in theme template for your page to show those widgets.
See the video tutorial to set the template for the page then you will be able to add those widgets on that particular page.

Hi there,

WordPress released a new version with a new editor as a widget setting.
You can disable those features and get the standard edit setting by activating this Classic Widgets plugin. Just activate it and you will see the same settings for widgets as previous.
