Hi – I have set up my site to have posts display on my home page. But when I go to the url: domail.com I only get the short version of the blog. If I add “home” then I get the full content.

This is how I did it:
Created a page called “Home” and set the template to “Blog Full Content Display”
Then created several posts.

My site is still in subfolders while I am developing it. Could that affect it?

creating under the sub folder that doesn’t affect.
to solve your problem go to dashboard->setting->reading
from there select static from page and select home page (this is the page where you select the front page.)
