Hi there, thanks so much for the great theme. I’ve been using it to put together my first WP site and it’s been pretty straight-forward to work with. I am, however, stuck on one issue. The images I’d like to surface on the home page grid are a variety of dimensions (some landscape, some portrait, some square). I’d previously gone through and cropped the WP thumbnails of each of my images so that they all display as desired in a square thumbnail format. However, since the theme uses the full-size version of the image, rather than the thumbnail, it loses the cropping information.

Is it possible to tweak the code to either (1) pull the thumbnail instead or (2) define how to crop each image?

If not, would the recommended work-around to upload 2 versions of each image — one to use in the actual post and one smaller crop to use as the featured image?

    Thank you!

Never mind, I figured it out. In case anyone else out there wants to do the same, in inc > structure > content-extensions.php — line 133 — change ‘full’ to ‘thumbnail’. I also increased my default WP thumbnail size so that they still render fine on larger screens.

Great that you figured it out.
