I want my home page to have the three feature boxes in my layout as seen on this version of my homepage http://babysteps.yourpagehost.com/

but I want to have page links (middle section/second row) as seen on this page http://babysteps.yourpagehost.com/home-3/

I cannot get a layout right with either template. You will see with the first page that the layout alignment is messed up with 6 boxes. I would be OKAY with the 6 feature boxes if they aligned correctly, although I prefer the look of the page links (second row) BEST on the second homepage I listed (home-3).

The problem with using the second homepage (home-3) is that I cannot configure the layout of the text in the first three boxes and my paypal button isn’t showing up. If i can configure layout of the text/media in these boxes to look as they do on the first link, that would be wonderful!!

I am not very good with coding so it would be nice if there is a way to fix this without going into the .php file or anything like that. I’m pretty certain there is and I’ve done a good job of figuring things out up to this point but a little help would be really appreciated.

    Hi Erica

You ant 3 featured image box ? For this you need plugin to add. We dont have such facility in our theme. If you really want to customize the code then you need to hire a developer to fix it. We are here to support only the theme problem to guide in the right track.

huh? I don’t think you understand my problem. let me put it more plain. I want the top three boxes on this page http://babysteps.yourpagehost.com/home/ to look like the top three boxes on this page http://babysteps.yourpagehost.com/

the problem is the first link i give you uses the corporate layout template, meaning the three boxes link to a page and i cannot format the text to look how I want it. The second link i give you uses the home corporate layout, meaning the three boxes are “feature boxes” and formatting the layout is much more simple.

How do I format the text to look right? I feel like it should be pretty simple but i’m using html on the pages they link to and it makes no difference.

on a completely different note, there is a glitch when I try to change colors on anything under theme options. I cannot set the color for the heading/footer/background/links etc. It either completely reverts back to default settings or one color gets changed when I click save changes. Can I get the css to do it all manually?

    Hi Erica,

If you want to keep formating while using corporate page template then you can go to that particular page and just below the content area you should see excerpt box. If you don’t see this box go to top and click on screen option and check the excerpt option. Now you can write content on excerpt box along with the formating and this text will show up instead.

    Hope this helps.

that was an okay solution except it creates an awkward extra section like its a link. Instead of text i’m just using images right now to get rid of that effect but i’d like a better solution.

also for my second question above, i’ll repost: there is a glitch in the theme when I try to change colors on anything under theme options. I cannot set the color for the heading/footer/background/links etc. It either completely reverts back to default settings or one color gets changed when I click save changes. Can I get the css to do it all manually or is there another way around the bug?

    Hi Erica,

You can easily change the color of headings/footer/background/links via theme option for this
Go to Appearance -> Theme Options -> Design Options Tab -> Color Options there you can see the color options for different sections change the color for the sections you like and click on save all changed button.

    Thank you!
