Hey Im using the Newscard theme but after installing all the plugins the content option is still missing. I want to import the theme like in the demo shown. so my question is how can i activate the content option to get the full theme?

please if anyone can help me with this i would be very thankful.

solved. one click demo import has done the job now…

but i still have one other problem. i was trying to change the background color of the navigation menu from red to blue but i understood that i need to use custom CSS for that. i checked the other forum posts here but no solution.

then i tried custom CSS using:

.main-navigation, .main-navigation ul ul {
background-color: blue;
}

but only parts of the navigation bar turned blue… before i make a new post can anybody tell me how to change the whole color of the navigation bar?

Use below custom CSS code to change the navigation background color.

.navigation-bar-top,
.navigation-bar {
	background-color: #c80000;
}

Please replace the above hex color code #c80000 to your own color code to change the red color.

@Theme Horse Support Team Im also wondering how to edit the widgets right on top of the page below “Top Stories”. I can edit all other widgets easily but “Main Stories” or “Editors Pick” are not possible to customize like I do the others.
can you please tell me how to do this in a simple way? since i really want to use the Newscard theme but if I face problems putting a category to those posts or simply cant edit it then its really going to be a problem for me.

any help would be well appreciated.

@busymobee Actually the section below Top Stories is a Banner Section. See this video tutorial to set the Banner Featured Slider (Main Stories), Banner Featured Posts 1 (Editors Pick) and Banner Features Posts 2 (Trending Stories).

oh i see. was trying the covernews theme before. so i was searching for an option like “frontpage options”. Ive never seen the tut before. but thats fine then.
