Can the sidebar have differnt content on different pages?

Right now I am only using the side bar on the About Us page because the content of it isn’t necessary on the other pages. I would like to use the sidebar on the other pages but with different text. Whenever I try to add a text widget,all the widgets show together in the sidebar.
